What is Trike-a-Thon Fall Festival?
It’s a fun, ffamily event to build community and raise money for scholarships to our classes and camps. This year is held on Saturday, September 30th from 9:30-11:30 am at the Westerman Preschool & Family Center, 2775 Boardwalk Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
U of M Football game is an away game, so traffic should not be an issue!
How do I raise money? What do we need to do?
The easiest way is to share our online pledge/donation link HERE. That way your family and friends can help you and First Steps out!
Paying at the "door" when you attend Trike-a-Thon is another options.
Who should come?
Families with children from birth to around 9. Everyone is welcome.
What do we do there?
Children ride bikes, trikes, scooters etc around the parking lot at the Westerman Preschool & Family Center. Adults push strollers with babies around the parking lot too. It’s exercise, it’s fun and it’s helping us earn money we need to support all of you. We have special races for ribbons too. If the weather is warm enough, you can ride your bike through the Bike Wash!
Are there other activities to do?
Yes there are! We have a, AAFD fire truck coming for kids to see up close. Blossom Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics! will be there and they're bringing Gordo the Magician who has really cool balloon animals and other fun things too.
Fit4Mom Ann Arbor will be there leading a class for everyone. Get to know them as they're a wonderful way to stay active with young children.
We also have an AAPS school bus to explorer!
We have special games to play (bean bag toss and What's under the Ducky).
The first 85 children get t-shirts provided by Bloom Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics!
Is there food?
Yes, we have delicious coffee for the adults from Black Diesel and snacks for all. Please bring your own water bottles
