Join the PTO!
Everyone is welcome to join the PTO! It's actually both fun and satisfying to help support First Steps through this group. The purpose is to provide additional funding for scholarships and community awareness about First Steps.
The PTO meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, now by Zoom - makes it easy to participate.
We participate in the Ann Arbor Jaycee's 4th of July parade every year and offer two annual family events:
April 6, 2019 - First Steps KidFest (last held)
September 29, 2019 - Trike-a-Thon Fall Festival (last held)
We're looking forward to a safe way to continue these events and to celebrate 20 years of First Steps in 2021!
Mission: To ensure that all families with children, birth to kindergarten entry, can participate in the First Steps Early Childhood Program with Rec&Ed/AAPS and receive the parent education and family support so fundamental to their future success.
