Scholarships
Scholarships are based on your annual income, family size and other factors. The application process is through Rec & Ed and anyone living in Ann Arbor is welcome to apply.

Scholarships are for families who are permanent residents or U.S. citizens living within the Ann Arbor Public School District and meet HUD's very low income guidelines. Scholarships are not available for families residing in Ann Arbor with a student or tourist visa. Please provide a valid "Green" card (Permanent Residency for Non-US Citizens) when applicable.
You must have the scholarship in place prior to registration in a class with First Steps. You are always welcome to pay at the regular rate and use your scholarship for the next session if you receive it by then. We do not adjust your rate in the middle of a session.
